Eh, not worried thus far about Allen's stats. He seems to be making the huge save when the boys need it most. Doesn't seem intimidated by being #1 either, which is the more important part of the equation IMO. Seems "ready" for it, but check back on 11/24 and maybe the story will be different. (Hope not.)

Glad to see Edmundson getting more ice time. Loved him adding some offense the other night. I really hope we can keep him somehow from being snatched in the expansion draft.

Great right up Jammer.

Not concerned by Allen per se. I did notice that before the flukey goal he scooped another lowish dump in shot with his glove and was not square to it, as he scooped it up on the side with the mitt. Reason I find that concerning is that sometimes those have a way of taking different hops, or you go to the next step before finishing the first step like the one he did allow.

Seeing teams try less and less for the side shots.

I think the whole worrying about changes and not getting caught for an extended shift in the second sometimes causes this team for at least last season and this, possibly beyond to get caught on bad line changes.

I would be curious about the amount of penalties the Blues take by period. I am guessing they take more in the second.

I still want to throw out stats frm the third period against New York because that was an abberation caused by missing three players and a hird game in four nights.

I concur. That has impressed me about Allen is his ability to just shake the pressure off.

Edmundson has upside potential offensively. He does see the play well. He also has a bomb if he can figure out how to get that cannon off quickly and through to the net.

He seems to be learning some things from JayBo. Keep in mind previous to last season he can back to the AHL after missing most of the season with a back injury. So he is orobably starting to feel more fluid now.

Guess we're not going to see Elliott in STL, cause he's probably going to get lit up tonight in CHI.

Awesome 3rd line, should everyone be healthy, eventually. I would add Berglund to Perry and Yak, really playing solid, even if he's not hitting the score sheet as hard as others. Can't think of a better 3rd line in the West. LGB!

I heard before (not sure where) that he was playing both in Chicago and St Louis.

My guess is he does play.

Elliott with a two point swing save -

Saves the game with seconds left and then wins it in a shootout. Goes from regulation loss to OT win.

Perhaps he regained some of his form?
